Welcome to this short comic, created in collaboration with local artist Élise of Cambridge Bay (Ikaluktutiak). Through the eyes of young fishers and curious minds, it shares how the land is changing with permafrost thaw — and how we learn together, from both science and experience.
This comic was created as part of a MSc research project (Loek Pascaud) and outreach initiative led by the Université de Sherbrooke, in collaboration with local partners in Ikaluktutiak (Cambridge Bay), Nunavut.
